Kansas Judicial Council Reports and Bulletins

The Judicial Council published annual Kansas Judicial Council Reports from 1927 to 1931. From 1932 until publication ended in 1984, these Reports were published as the Kansas Judicial Council Bulletins. For many years these Bulletins were published quarterly. However, in later years, the Bulletins were published semi-annually or irregularly until publication was discontinued in 1984. When they were published, the Kansas Judicial Council Bulletins were the only publication that was sent to every Kansas lawyer.

The Judicial Council Reports and Bulletins typically contained information such as: recommendations for improvement of the judicial system, surveys of the work of the courts, court statistics, motion days, court days, proposed legislation, articles from the President of the Kansas Bar Association and other prominent lawyers and judges, articles on subjects and areas of practice or interest, forms for use in the practice of law and other information relating to the improvement of the judicial system.
